The Wellness Garage Cafe is pleased to offer a series of workshops aimed at helping you discover easy, practical ways to increase your intake of healthy plant-based foods. Yoga 101 Workshops
Wellness Garage is excited to offer a Yoga workshop series for students to discover what the true practice of yoga is really about. This workshop is designed for someone who is starting out or looking for a more integrated, authentic style of yoga. Practice will include traditional concepts of yoga poses to open and release tension out of the body, breathing exercises for reducing stress and simple meditation techniques for incorporating mindfulness into your life. Classes will progress throughout the series. When: First session starts Friday, September 27th from 9:00-10:00am and runs for six consecutive weeks. Small Group Strength Conditioning
Wellness Garage is excited to offer small group strength and conditioning classes for individuals who are looking for more personalized workouts in a supportive environment. Classes are sold in packages of 4 sessions and run continuously except on holidays.
Learn to Lift This class is perfect for people who are new to strength training or want to learn how to design and perform workouts confidently on their own. Each class will include: individualized instruction, application of exercises and resources to take home. When: Friday mornings from 8:00-9:00am Cost: $200 for 4 sessions with a 20% discount for Wellness Garage members - max 3 persons Strength Conditioning for Men or Women These classes are designed for anybody who is looking to increase their strength and conditioning. The small group structure allows for individualized support and focus on improving technique while getting a solid workout for the day! In this series you’ll learn not only about the importance of sleep and how essential it is for optimal health and well being, but also how to review your lifestyle habits, exercise and nutrition to examine how they may be interfering with your sleep. In today’s fast paced world, many people forgo sleep and overextend themselves to catch up on work and other responsibilities. If you are feeling run-down, struggling to focus or feeling irritable for no clear reason, this series will teach you meditation and mindfulness strategies proven to support a good night’s rest!
